TC Kline Konis clunking?
#22
Not on an S2000, but I get some light clunking (typically in low speed and cool conditions) on the rears of my 350z. Seems to go away after several miles, but perhaps I am just not listening for it?
Edit: Do you guys have problems with seepage from the fronts? Just about every 350z with them has it to some degree. Just curious.

Hey, I am about to pick up a used set of these TC Kline Koni's. How does Koni charge to rebuild each shock? Are they the only ones who could fix them? I'd like to get the rears rebuilt to try and get the clunking noise fixed.

Koni charges a base fee of $150 per shock if you mail them in. If you find them at the Solo Nationals, they only charge you for parts which for me was $40 for four shocks.
You can also go to True Choice and I think one other shop, the name is on Koni's site.

I had Pro Parts do my rebuild. They still make noise when I first start driving, but most of the noise goes away after the shocks warm up.

I don't remember but I think it was less. They had a sale on rebuilds at the time, I think it was around 400 and something for all 4. This was 2 years ago. It would be best to call them.
