Richard, what tires will you use if it rains?
Uniroyal Tiger Paws all-season if I drive the Buick Rendezvous. Always wanted to see what it would be like to drive it at the limit. And you better not let me beat you, especially since those tires are pretty worn too.

The forecast calls for lots of rain, so I'm giving up on the RA-1s.

(Don't wanna turn Streets into the world's largest Slip & Slide. )

It should be excellent practice under wet conditions with lots of open track due to all the folks who are gonna wimp out.

C'mon and join us!

I am "working from home" tomorrow. If the car wasn't up on jackstands, completely unusable, I'd think about joining you guys.

Forecast is 71% chance of "Rain Showers", not "Rain", which I think is better as it is intermittent I'm bringing the RA1's on the trailer anyhow so I'll have a choice.

Weather Channel forecast:

Rosamond Ca.: Periods of rain. High around 55F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall possibly over one inch.

I like Richard's weatherman better.

Broken up over say five Showers would be only 0.2 inch each, with dry in between.

Aaron can give us classroom instructions on how to drive in the rain if it's raining too hard. He had a lot of practice last week at Fontana SCCA, though he had to use the tire walls for brakes twice.

Yeeaaaaaaaha. Aaron did indeed stop his newly renovated Miata with the tire wall. Twice.

He says you have to know how to slide into them in such a way as to not incapacitate the car. Problem is there are no tirewalls at Streets.
