I run +63 17x9s with 3.5 degrees of camber. Yes they rub the control arm at full lock....but ask yourself...how often do you go to full lock? I just don't go to full lock anymore. If I'm really tight in a parking lot or whatever I'll just turn to full lock and then back off very slightly so I'm just off of full lock. When you're racing you'll never turn the wheel more than 1/2-3/4 turn max so it's definitely not a concern then.

I am lowered a couple inches, and all I did was bend the tabs on the inside of the fender in front...no fender pulling or anything like that and I didn't even touch the rear fenders.

I am going to add a small spacer to help with rubbing on the part of the fender over the inside of the tire at maximum compression - but you shouldn't have that problem if you're not lowered

So that's what I'd recommend. And a nice front sway bar.

To give you an idea, I just got 4 17x9 +62 TR Motorsports C3 wheels from tirerack for $650. They don't look bad, they're not heavy, and I haven't rolled my fenders yet. It doesn't look like I'll need to, but I'm going to before my next track day just because it would suck to find out I need them rolled between sessions that I've already paid for.
You won't need to unless you're lowered They will rub the arm at full lock though, if you're running track (~ -3) camber in the front.
So at -2 camber it would be ok? My next question is, what wheel is 15 lbs like the rpf1, and a +63 offset, 9 inch wide hmmmmmmmm. Im just trying to plan my wheel buy for next spring.

One day with an instructor will do you more good than 10 days trying to figure it out yourself or any mods. That's my advice
