Suspension Settings
Okay so I have been playing with my D2 coil-overs I got a while back trying to find that just right setting. Now, I used to have a civic that I would track quite often and I had that setup perfect for me, granted It took 3 years to get it that way but never the less. The RWD S is a different beast all together. With the stock springs and struts the car was so smooth and easy to whip around the track with very little, I don't how to really explain it except to say body movement before and in a turn. With the D2 coilover setup I think I finally found a setting all around, however it still doesn't seem smooth. I have to "catch" the car before a turn especially while downshifting. In turns it seems that it isn't as stuck to the ground as with the stock setup. I can't figure out how to get the setup right on this thing. And I know that alignment shop isn't happy with me as I keep going back making them make the alignment as perfect as I want it (going up and down in camber and toe), it was a lifetime alignment deal.
Could it also be my tires? I have Sumimoto's HR-Z's. Though they feel good, they aren't as good as the SO-2's.
Sorry for the long ?. Thanks for any help.
