STR Prep - Wheels and Tires

How does +55 offset work with around 13" ride height?
Planning on running -3.1 camber in the front.
Also, would running SPC balljoint vs Hardrace lower balljoint make difference as well?
Thanks

Tire Pressures Rival S 1.5
Hi,
I have just bought a set of these, and I'm curious about tire pressures.
My car is a 2007 S2000, fully-prepped for STR. The tires are 255/40-17 all around.
I have a Karcepts front bar, NB front bar as rear bar.
Thanks.
Mark

I have been told the magic number for Rivals is 35 psi front, 31 psi rear from a local who is pretty competitive in his CR - that's what I am running on mine but I am not as prepped as you are. I would start there and adjust as needed

This past month I ran my first even on the Rival S 1.5 and ran 36 front and 35 rear for starting pressures and it enabled me to put down a competitive time. I currently run Swift Spec-R with CR shocks (need an upgrade) and Karcepts bars front and rear with 255 square.

Just a quick note;
I ran the newer Continental Extreme Contact Sport(ECS) yesterday at a novice learning event we host every year. Outside temps were between 32-40 all day.
I ran tire pressures 3-4psi above what you would run in the BFG/Bridgestone
Even at full tread, basically had them mounted, threw them on the car, and drove to the event... The tires felt AWESOME.
Great grip, no odd characteristics. Took about half a run or so to get up to temp. I ran with a co-driver and ran back to back fairly quickly and they had no issues with heat.
I picked them up on sale from Discount Tire as a rain tire option/daily driver tire for less than $600. Seems like a great semi-economical option for people that are looking for a daily friendly competition tire.

I also ran the Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires, 225/45 front and 255/40 rear.
They are great daily driver tires and they are very fast in the wet. When compared to str prepped s2000s running re71r tires in the rain, my times were about 0.5 seconds faster with the Continental Extreme Contact Sports on my pretty much stock ap2. For reference these guys are usually 4 seconds faster than me in the dry.
I did almost completely kill these tires on dry autocross days, they cannot handle much.
So far this year I did about 45 autocross runs (average 75 seconds a run) and probably 25 of those runs were rainy and temperatures bellow 50 degrees F.
The tires are still ok to use daily but I won't use them for autocross again.
I just installed Enkei PF01RR 17" x 9.0" +60mm wheels and 255/40 RE71R tires all around.
I have autocross races this Saturday and Sunday.
We will see how much I need to roll/message the front fenders, I am thinking I will need to at least a little bit.
I have front lower camber joints so I am running -3.0 camber in the front, but I am still on stock shocks/springs.
EDIT:
- I have bent the fender tabs in with my fingers and the only part that is rubbing is a small section on the upper inner section of the fender liner at full lock left or right
After 2 days of autox (18 runs on a 1 mile course) the only real rubbing looks to be from maneuvering in parking lots (full lock):
