True, Marc...I doubt TR would publicize quite as highly test results that showed the Dunlops to be worse, but that may be just me being overly skeptical.

If only we could crowdsource funds for a legitimate tire test in a proper environment for STR. ....

To add to the fire, Z1s need a couple heatcycles before they come in. So the test on the Z1s arent optimal (same for the GRM test). Perhaps the Z2 is good right off the bat, or may get faster as well with heatcycles.

Marc,

I preordered the Z2's, however I still have a 3 sets of RS3's and your old Z1 SS'. With that being said, I'm not sure when I will add the Z2's to one of my sets of wheels.

This week on Hoarders...........

I just scored a mildly used set of RE070's for $100. I'm gonna throw them on the stock wheels and use them for fun events.

RE070s are an interesting tire. Insanely stiff sidewalls but not quite as much grip as the Star Spec, RS3, AD08.

I've heard similar reviews, but for 100 bones I'm not gonna complain anything will be better than the mismatched no-name tires that were on the ap2 wheels I bought.
