CE28N are a no go also. I got ahold of a guy that had some and had him weight it for me. 16.02 LBS isn't light enough for me to spend almost 3 grand on. Hmmm..

For 3k it is! I can buy 3 sets of 949's that weight .8 LBS more each for the same price. If I'm going to spend 3k on wheels I want them to be sub 15 LBS like the Buddy Club wheels.
2k price increase isn't worth 3.2 LBS savings.
Hopefully the new wheels volk is releasing weights under 15lbs.

True story. Good thing I already have a set. At most you only need 1-3 sets of wheels but 90% of us most likely only have 1.
-Rain set- who cares what they weight, 17x8-9 wheel with DW's on it. I'm using a set of ap1 rears all the way around. (they weight 19.05 LBS)
-Cold weather- Who cares what they weight, your going to be fighting to put down power so I don't see a need to sweat wheel weights.
-Hot weather- Find the lightest freaking wheel you can because this is when it's all on the line. Although it's not worth spending 2k more over another wheel on the market just for .8 pounds savings. Unless the wheel is sub 15 LBS I'm not interested in buying another set.
I have 2 sets of wheels and not really planning on buying anymore unless they are crazy light weight. I wish more people would weight thier wheels and post pictures of them on the scales. I don't trust numbers without proof of a picture.

Is there any con to 'cutting' the tabs rather than rolling? I already had the 2 tabs bent, and the liner trimmed, but as far as the inner lip between the tabs, the installer suggested cutting off the tabs, as the only way to 'roll' the inner lip.

I don't think "cutting" is legal or at least there is no language about it in the rules. Pushing them up totally works.
Also, yes, you will get lots of premature tire wear with big camber and 1/4" toe but in reality, I would only get about 9000 miles out of the stock Bridgestone S02's with a stock alignment. Currently, I'm running zero toe and the street use wear is imperceptible.
