STR Prep - Suspension and Alignment
#291
There is bumpsteer in the front but I don't know of anyone who has measured it. I mean, it probably has less effect on the dynamics of the car than the rear considering the front wheels are always changing directions.

Just figured I should post on here to get this topic back up now that discussion over alignment and front camber has come back to the forefront.
Who is now running more than -3 degrees up front? and what camber solution are you using to get there?
Currently I am on the S1 J's joint and I am maxed out at -3. So it looks like I may have to go for the S2 joint unless someone has a better solution.

The S2 will easily do it. I just set mine to 4 degrees no problem with the S2 joints. I've been running 3.2 in front (although I guess it slipped back down to 3.0), I think I'm going to try a little higher and see how it goes.

Running the SPC camber joint at -3.1 deg up front, running about -2.7 in the rear.
I have been running like this since July and have about 4-5k miles with no issues on the SPC joints. Drover nervously all the way to Lincoln and back expecting something to give, but all is well. The balls felt nice and tight when I pulled my shocks off last weekend.
