Not a big fan of the GT-Sport of the 4 short days I've had on them. Let's see how these Spec-VRs work...
They're great pads as long as they're warm... When they're not, you can really feel the half second between when you apply the brakes and when they actually start to grip. Honestly, I've driven them to and from the track without any issue. The bite and feel is outstanding IMO.

I too run stock pads on the street, then Cobalts on the track. I bought a pair of the '04 OEM pads and will put those on this winter when I replace the rotors. I'm looking forward to seeing if I notice the performance increase, and as my wheels are black and silver, I could care less about the additional dusting...

Supposedly Honda's stock S2000 pads for 2004 and newer are a bit more aggressive at the expense of more dusting.
Yep, but the fronts still try to brake faster than the rears in heavy braking. I haven't replaced mine yet but will be going to Hawk HPS in the fronts and HPS Plus in the rear.

If you go with those Hawks, prepare to destroy your rims with the dust.

And yes, the braking on the car is designed so that the fronts will apply more torque than the rears. It's done on purpose

I wouldn't bother with the HPS's -- in my experience, they're not any better than the stock pads.
