Default Stock CR Roebling, CMP lap times

Anyone know how the lap times for a stock CR would compare to a stock ap1 at roebling or CMP?

Or with both cars on comparable upgraded tires?

I think the AP1 gearing is best at Roebling and with the same decent street tires I would be surprised if a CR was more than a second quicker.
At CMP the AP2 gearing would be much better. Along with the extra power I would think the CR should be over a second faster.

If you are looking for what car to get I would definitely get an AP1 and save some money.

If you do springs or a half decent suspension on an AP1 it should be a bit faster than a CR

The main thing is get to the track and practice and have fun.
The difference between a AP1 and a CR laptime wise probably won't matter untill till you've done maybe 10+ events

I already have an ap1 and am looking to upgrade the suspension a bit.

I like the idea of OEM fit and quality, so I'm considering CR shocks/springs/sways.

I am happy with the balance of the car now, and am a little concerned the CR setup may lead to understeer.

Thoughts?

I've read a couple posts from people who have upgraded ap1 to CR parts, and the reviews are mixed. May be down to driver preference/style.

I would think the CR is more understeery than 02-03 from looking at the spring rates.

I think it would be faster with springs/swaybar or some konis and stiffer springs but its how much you drive it on the street OEM stuff is nice.
