Squeeking suspension
I noticed today during my daily commute that my front left suspension (shock?) squeeks under compression, e.g. dips, driveways, and speed bumps.
Is this a sign that my shock is blown? S2kc is in 3 days and I don't think I can get it replaced that quickly
I figured this would be the best place to post this.
Thanks!

It is *only* the front left. I have no time to look at my car this week; I'll barely be getting the brakes swapped for Saturday .
To be fair, I take right turns harder than lefts, although that's balanced out a lot since I started tracking with the intention of improving. No idea if that makes any difference, but I used to canyon run a lot... >_<

^ There is a front left and front right sway bar bushing, too. Take a look and see if there's any liquid coming from the shock, and if not, I'm betting it's the bushing. Another reason why I think it's the bushing: the noise goes away when it's warmer, and predictably presents itself in the cold winter months.

Like Nam said it is probably a sway bar bushing. This has happened to me before. Some bars will make a clunking noise but it doesn't look like that's a concern. Other times its the trunk springs that do it (and it appears as if its coming from the left side, too) So its hard to say really.
For me right now its an anti-bumpsteer kit that also produces the noise. But I am uncertain if you are running one or not. In any event I don't think its something that is leading towards signs of catastrophic failure - but I personally would track it down asap
