Squeaky Noise when engaging gear - HELP
Hey guys, I tried searching but it didn't seem like this is a common issue. But I just got back from Roebling Rd in Savannah today and I noticed my transmission was making some sort of a squeaky noise (like a rusted spring) when I engage it in gear. Any gear, not just first. Its not too loud but I'm concerned this may be signs of a larger issue. I didn't push my car too hard, 8/10 and I didn't need to shift much in the track since it was a HPDE.
Have you guys noticed this before? It doesn't make the noise when I just push the clutch in and out when I don't engage a gear, only when a gear is engaged.
Thanks in advance

I also wanted to share my experience:
I was running with PCA florida crown region. And since this is my first track event, I was placed in the beginners group. My car was stock with less than steller tires in the rear. However, I was faster than all of the cars in my group with the exception of this Audi S4 (bi-turbo), which had 400 crank hp, DOT approved race tires, and upgraded rotors and pads. The S4 killed me on the straight but as soon as we got to the turns and curves I got right back on his tail. It was definitely one of the most exhilarating experiences I've had....I think I may be addicted. Good thing its a 2 day event so I'll be returning tomorrow .
There were several 911 variants in my group including this Turbo....which was a big disappointment because the driver was sloppy and never pushed it. Look at those tires !!!
Here are some pics of mine and my buddy's Z which is FAAAST, we weren't in the same group since he had a couple of sessions under his belt.
btw, I went a little overboard with the tape
The '08 GT3 RS, according to the roster there was suppose to be 2....never found the 2nd one.
