I was told the Yellows off the shelf were good for up to 500-550, so that is what I'm running: 500F/550R. I am thinking of sending them out to be revalved for stiffer springs during perhaps July.
My bad, folks. I tried to use an existing thread to solicit an answer. Info about my setup was already in the thread.

Yes, I know I have to have them revalved. That is why I called Koni. That is why I was able to relay prices and turnaround time.

My question is not whether or not they need to be revalved, but since I'm revalving, how high a spring rate would some of you recommend for a 2650lbs car that may only lose another 50-100lbs?

That question depends on entirely:

a) the track
b) your driving style
c) the tires that you're going to be running.

there's no set answer. I've ran (on a different car) 1000-1000 compared to 1000-900 and just messed with the preloads (two different drivers) and yielded times that were about a tenth from each other.

Your spring rate is largely determined by the tires that you run (cuz THOSE have a spring rate as well), as well as the track that you run.

RA-1's. I'm just looking for a ballpark. My skill level doesn't currently allow me to feel minute differences. FWIW, I originally ran 380 at all corners on Yellows and GC adj perches. Then I went to 500/550 on the same shocks. Since i have a Gendron bar and an APR wing, there is definitely no need to run stiffer in front than the rear. 800 all around? 1k?

I am bumping this so as not to create a new thread. I have a 2007 S2000. I am looking at the ground control/koni set up feature here:

http://www.ground-control-store.com/produc...hp/II=752/CA=76

I am going to run non-staggered 245-40-17 Ventus Evo street tires , not R-compounds.

The stock spring rates for the 04 S2000 is not clear:

In this link the front/rear springs rates are listed as 256f/207r.

But in this link the rates are listed as 266f/273r.

And there are yet another set of numbers (266f/275r)here

First, Which spring rate is closer to reality?

Second, I am not looking to run a bigger front sway bar and want to reduce overstere as a result of a non-staggered set-up. What spring rate should I order for my set-up for a daily driver/hotlapping car?
