R4S sucks if you're remotely fast. I don't think ducting will help. I used to crumble R4S in one session. I switched to Carbotech and didn't have any more problems. Running R4's now.

Well - I've run the car without ducts on Porterfield R4S pads and I have consistently managed to destroy them.

Thanks Rev, I am probably going to go with the aircraft spruce flanges. I don't have too much faith in the ones I fabricated.

Ok - I'm signed up for Sunday only.

Schedule:
Friday: Gunna take my final in the morning, head to Riverside, install my ducting, put in my race pads, take my tires to get mounted/balanced, heat cycle the tires and bed the pads, and put the car up on jack stands for the night.

Saturday: my new woman's going to meet up with me out in Riverside and we're heading to Vegas that afternoon. She's never been before, so we'll see the sights / do the vegas thing, stay out late...

Sunday: Hopefully I'll fit in at least 3-4 hours of sleep before heading out to the track. After I finish moppin' up the track with all your butts , I'll be heading straight back to Riverside.

How awesome is that to find a girl who's excited about comin' to the track ??? Ok, maybe she's just excited about Vegas.
