Hmmm... So Red groups have less cars, but you get quite a bit less track time? :-/ Hard to decide if I'd rather get an extra hour and 20 minutes or if I want to run in a faster group where I don't have to pass a bunch of people on every lap... and I still need to decide if I'm doing one day or both... decisions, decisions...

So... I need to add $20 for transponder rental and $20 for them to actually time me or else I can't score any points?

This is gunna be an expensive weekend... $220 for track fees, $40 for timing, plus hotel, and other related expenses...

And on top of that, I can't find anyone willing to mount my race tires for a reasonable price. Everyone I've called wants $10-15 to mount the tires because I didn't buy from them... Well no one local sells race tires, so I don't know what they expect me to do!

Hope to see you there, Rev! I hope to be in the white group and Kyle in the yellow with his 'new' M3.

PS: I calculate 'only' 20 minutes more time overall per day in the white or yellow compared to the red1/red2? They each have the same number of sessions, but the others are 5 minutes more per session.

Still cool.

Dammit! It's starting to look like I might not be able to make it.

I've got finals for law school form May 5-16... All my parts, etc. are at my mom's house in Riverside, since I don't have a regular garage here in Santa Monica. I still need to get my RA-1's mounted/balanced and heat cycle them and I still need to install my brake ducting... But I just don't see how I'm going to make time to do all that before May 16 without failing my finals and losing my scholarship. I could always try and fit everything in the Friday night before the track day and then pull an all-nighter driving out... but then I won't be able to heat cycle the tires.

<sigh> Well - I guess there's still the event at Streets of Willow on June 6 and the Speedtrials thing at CA speedway the weekend after that.
