Default Speedventures pricing for Pahrump - "$250 one day / $375 both days" ?!?!?!

What the hell is up with this pricing?! I was planning to go to the event, but they've simply priced it out of my reach.

Maybe I'll head up to Laguna Seca with the Alfa Romeo guys that weekend instead. I just finished getting my car all set for this event and now they go and price it like it's a Ferrari club event.

It's not that bad, and Pahrump is a better track for the S2000 than Laguna anyway. With the distance they figure most people will do both days, and $187.50/day isn't really unreasonable.

Um, so they are holding a track day at Laguna Seca for less that $250?

What you really need to do is to calculate the cost per hour of track time and compare Speed Ventures' rates to other clubs. When you do that, you'll see that it's a really good deal...

Notice there was a type-o. The actual price is $375/day $600 for 2 days.

Tracks with facilities as nice as pahrump are expensive to rent. Sorry about the mistake.

Confusion! Is it?
$250/$375 (posted by Reverend and shown here)
$375/$600 (what I think you just said)
$130/$220 (what the signup form was showing)

The fact is that the economy in Pahrump has skyrocketed in the last month. Everyone there now drives Ferraris and Rupert charges us $15,000 a day.

Not.

BTW, I like the way JZR and PLL actually defended us on that one!!! What great customers, they'll defend us no matter what the cost!!

John just made a little error. I hope Reverend hasn't gone and made other plans. The real price is $130/day and $220 for two days. You'll probably get over 3 hrs. a day I'm guessing.
