Hey Robert,

We're you able to correct your oversteer and improve your times on Sunday? bill

Hey Bill & Sri,

I have give props up to the stock suspension crew. Awsome times. It was also a real eye opening experience to see Aron and Will go around in a stock S2000 w/ RA1's to dip into the 37s and 38s. Wow... I might be going back to stock suspension. (not yet... not giving up...)

Sunday was about the same weather.

In the morning, I changed the ride hight by raising the rear with the KW recommended setting. I though it was an oversteer due to lack of travel. But, the oversteer was there all morning.

Then I followed Richard's advice and took off the end links on the rear sways on the third session. I immediately wend down 2 sec (still 38s) on a hot day. The car actually gave me slight understeer for the first time. The car felt better going up turn 3 as I was able to give it gas but scarier on turn 8 and 9 as the bumps weren't very controlled and the roll rate between the front and rear were different.

In the afternoon, I copied Richards ride height and decided to connect the rear sways again as everyone had lots of run time.

I inserted the end links and torqued the sway bolts again at 1g (on the ground) to make sure it wasn't binding, etc.

I played around with the shock setting all afternoon but it was the same. I threw in the gloves and started practicing left foot braking for turn 2 and turn 4 in the afternoon.

Anyway, I am pretty much sick of taking about my oversteer problems. I just want to solve it!!

Few causes:
1. Wheels: 17x9" +63 offset F&R may not work well.
2. Tires: These Prellie R compounds may not work well.
3. Alignment: This will be checked out this weekend.

Anyways, I went out with the top down to take some video but the camera was angled all wrong. Note: Maybe someone can help me confirm that its my driving or not...

Rylan's stock street car. MY 00. It was used as a challenge car on Sunday. Competitors were Rylan, Aaron, Will, Dave Kennedy, Dave Karner, and I. Aaron won with a 1:37.xxx, and I think Rylan was 1:38's, Kennedy and Will 1:39's, Karner 1:40's, and me 1:42 (Ry, have you checked my session vs the DL90 to see if there was an error ? ) Times did get slower as the day went on, but not more than a second or so.

Aaron did 37s, I did 38s and will and dave did 39s There were others in 40s.

The car was my Stock 2000 s2k w/ a K&N filter and "custom" (by last owner) exhaust. Otherwise on 205/245 RA1s w/ cobalt race pads.

Please let me know if I can help w/ the car setup.
