They do require tow hooks, says so in every driver meeting and people still went out w/o them and went off. In the afternoon if you went off you went home for the day because there were so many of them.
Regardless, most of the time loss was the late start.

I'm not trying to get on them in particular, but this is the kind of thing that is different between tech for a race and tech for an HPDE. If they really wanted to, they could make sure that every single car out there had tow hooks.

They did later in the day and the next day.
The weather delay pretty much made chaos for the first few sessions and people driving well over thier heads didn't help.
It's wet and foggy, you shouldn't be surprised the track is slippery

Well, partially. They could require tow hooks. They could also require non-idiots, but that's harder to test for in advance.
