Mine lasted me more than 2000 track miles.
Thanks! So, looking at that "tread" I'd be pretty safe? I guess what I'm asking is how long before the grooves dissappear would you see cords? I bought the wheels with tires used so I don't know how many miles are on them.

Those look fine, the only thing I'd suggest is that it might be time to flip them on the rims so that they wear more evenly. Looks like you don't have enough camber there assuming the worn edge is the outside one.

The worn edges are on the inside, I'm going to go get them flipped tommorrow. Thanks guys.

J/K .
The previous owner probably drove them on the street a lot, which wears the inside. I might leave them as is because you'll (or should) wear the outside more on the track, and there should be negligible wear on the highway unles you have a lot of toe. But I've never driven to and from the track on R-compounds so I'd take others' advice.

Plenty of tread to last the trip, but I'd be worried about rain on the drive to and from. It's NorCal in January after all.

I checked weather.com and it looks like it's not going to rain from Thursday through Sunday. I hope it doesn't change.

Actually, those don't look much different than mine did just before I corded them. But it's really hard to say.

[edit: on second thought, I pretty much had lost all those little holes before they corded, so you still have some tire left.]

The tires look perfect but those toe nails look like they could use some work
