That's where you misunderstand. What works better on the track is often worse for the street, esp. when it comes to braking.

BTW, most of us use the stock calipers and rotors on the track. They work great.

no what works better on the track works better on the street. But what looks pretty on the street rarely performs on the track.

If you want to "look" fast you're in the wrong place.

Racing pads and fluid don't work better on the street. Racing suspension may not be tolerable on the street...nor slicks....etc.

My tow hooks look pretty on the street, but will they work on the track.

[QUOTE=LordMagnet,Aug 19 2004, 09:13 PM] Whoa... you guys need to chill with the bling. I would like to improve my braking but I stated that I was not going to track my car so to give people a better understanding of where i'm going with this.

This thread is what is wrong with this portion of the forum. Nobody just looks to help a guy out. All they want to do is make people feel inferior.

LordMagnet-You have to understand that the guys in the racing/competition area think they have the brains of Ferdinand Porsche and the driving ability of Mario Andretti. Not to mention that it is easy for them to accomplish their mind games while hiding behind a computer.

dude we are trying to help.

while it might not be sugar coated we are offering help. its help from the opinon of the r&c croud. He didn't post in S2000 talk to UTH. He posted in racing and competition.

If he wanted someone to stroke his need to look pretty this isn't the place. If you want REAL perfomance we're here to help.

This thread is exactly what is right with this part of the forum, and why most of the rest of the forum is almost intolerable.
