Actually right now, they're trying to move the race back to the scheduled date.
There are a number of us that the 10/29&30 date deosn't work for.

How does this help? Just makes it worse. Now I'm not sure it's worth the registration fee for limited track time vs. going to an HPDE event.

By nearly unanimous vote we agreed
"So far the vote from competing and elegible members is Yes:
Cancel the October 29-30 Buttonwillow Event as a Championship round of Honda Cup. And Try to get another venue later in the year, whether it be Speedventures, TCRA, or whatever for our Final Championship round."
