Is there a way to create steering response on the S2000?
I love the car, but I am more and more bothered by the steering. When I drive my other car, I can feel the road much better.

(well ofcourse, if a car have no power steering, it wouldnt have this problem in the first please)

I dont think S2000's steering (wheel) give any response/ feedback from the road at all.

Mine fights back plenty.

Take a softer grip of the wheel. You should be able to drive the car with two fingers and a thumb on one hand. Try this... I bet you'll feel some feedback.

I maxed the caster on my last alignment. The wheel feels better IMO as a result.

I get max caster whenever I get an alignment. Maybe we have different expectations of feedback, but I've never had an issue. (For comparison, I've also driven '91 CRX Si (no PS), '86 911 (no PS), '86 944, '00 Boxster S.)

What is your "other car"?

I also find the S2000's steering lifeless. Adding caster will increase the steering's weight, but it won't help you pick up little hints on the surface you're driving over or what the front tires are doing. Disconnecting the power steering might; I've never done it, so I can only guess.

For whatever reason, the S2000 just doesn't communicate road feel through its steering as well as some other cars do.

I don't have this problem. I think this is a personal preference thing.

Again, don't underestimate tires. Every time I switch between 225 RA1s and the stock front S02s I'm struck by the difference in feel.
