Running Tires Backwards
If it is not wet, is there a problem with swapping the right with the left front tires ?
On my last track day at Laguna, I noticed much greater tire wear on the right front tire than the left front. It looks like I have enough tread on the left tire for another track day, but the right is questionable. My next track day will be Laguna in Feb.
One option I was concidering is to re-mount the tires so the outside edge of the right becomes the inside edge of the left. But I was concerned about the camber and the fact that then there would be more tread on the inside edge and less on the outside.
The other option is to just swap front tires and run them backwards. Is this a better idea?
