Just curious if you have ever had the same overheating problems as phsychoazn. Were you ever frustrated with them getting greasy too fast and unable to cool down for more hot laps?

These tires are virtually non-existant in the S2K challenge now due to their inability to handle heat.

^speaking about the RS3?
I haven't even mounted mine yet but I have already considered selling them so I can get more Star Specs. The Star Spec left such a good impression on me on my last s2k.

sounds like RS-3 is a no brainer then for a fast tire that also happens to be cheap. I was just curious since you have been talking about struggling with oversteer issues but thanks for clarifying. hope you've found and solved that problem btw.

even with a more aggressive suspension setup and camber around -3? how many track days are people seeing from them? im talking about until they cord, not until they heat cycle out of competitiveness?

They wear slower as they heatcycle out.
I'd guesstimate you can get 5-8 track days if you go till they cord, depending on your local track conditions.
If you're on stock suspension and are experienced, you'll need in the realm of -3.3 to -3.5 for even wear. We suspect that there's more grip to be had with more camber, but nobody's been willing to chew through tires to test that, yet
