Default Rollover integrity - please help

I want to run a Texas Motor Speedway night event, but the organizer is wanting factory documentation on the rollover integrity of the car. Does ANYONE know where I could locate this information? Am I screwed re: getting this info?

He says it has to do with the insurance at this particular track. I've run other tracks in TX with no problem. I really want to run this event, but it's not looking good.

There's some documentation in a Honda S2000 book you can get off of Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/076030906...ie=UTF8&s=books

Not sure if it's good enough, but if I remember correctly there's a couple pages dedicated to describing Hondas rollover design, as well as a picture of crash testing.

OK...I agree a roll bar is a better/safer solution, but this is a just a DE. Every other DE I've been to in TX/OK has no issue with the S2000 in factory trim. I run a near stock car on street tires...but it looks like we're going to be held out of this event due to the convertible / factory roll protection issue.

Bummer you're in the same boat, Corey. Yeah, it's not looking good.

loudes,

I agree getting a roll bar isn't a bad solution, but both Corey and I are only couple times/year DE and autocross guys. I don't want to race out my car for the few times a year I slide around the track for fun.

Maybe, I can convince the wife that I need a C6 Z06 since it's a hardtop.

Our SCCA region just had it's first Performance Driving Experience event run under the relatively new SCCA PDX level 1 rules below.
SCCA Performance Driving Experience (PDX) Rules (see Level 1)

I had to get a hard-top per page 41. Luckily, a buddy lent me his & helped me out..

NASCAR Turn 1 was an absolute BLAST!
