I could always just go out to my garage and take a look underneath....that seems like a lot of work though.

Good point. I'll go with that idea. Especially because I don't have to leave my chair to do so.

Thanks for all the pics kinchu007. I'm glad I got to see more of this and I'm really glad to see the weight of the bar vs. interior trim. You still running the factory seats? Does the CR have the bulkhead and if so did you put it back in?

Ed,

I would go with the HardDog...it's super solid. Here's some install pics

Fil,

Great writeup!

One question: Can you show us where the harness will mount on the bar?

No problem...I still have to finish the passenger side seat and then I'll take pics of the finished project...I did not put the bulkhead back in...that pic where I weigh the OEM roll hoop structure includes the bulkhead if you look carefully.

Okay, I took some teaser pics but they suck because my camera sucks at focusing in the dark:

I'll take proper pics next week when it's 100% done.

Oh, and the HardDog bar weighs around 45 lbs (depending on the configuration)...the stock roll hoops with all trim pieces weigh 46 lbs
great info, with this info i think we know how to give points for removing stock roll hoops and trims behind driver/passenger and reward pp with added roll bar weight
