I thought this might be on some interest.

The idea is great, I just think the looks suck for a convertable.

Without a helmet and proper padding a rollbar in a street driven car is risking death. That would really suck IMHO.

I'm thinking about getting a bar or even cage soon depending on whether I can get another daily driver. Since I still won't have a tow vehicle though, this stuff fits the bill exactly. Thanks for pointing it out!

I agree. I don't understand, however, why they can not make it in a circular form (like almost every other kind of roll bar padding, soft and hard) instead of square form. The square form is fine for most cars, where you don't see the padding all the time, but for a convertable where it is sticking out for everyone to see, it would just be nice if it looked better.

Still a neccessity if you have a roll bar in a street car, though.

Perhaps that will come next, if this product does well. I too would have preferred round. However, having it square provides more protective material in the same space.
