revalved stock shocks?

Agreed...
It may be more cost and time efficeint to strap on some Konis. I had the same thoughts about the stock shocks as I am running with H&R springs, which greatly improved the compression characteristics in cornering, but the lifting is unacceptable. During high speed runs on tracks with bumps and hills, my S rises and floats a bit enough to back off the speed.
If one does create a garage mod for the stock shocks, I'd definitely be interested in reading about it. However, for around 600 bills, the Konis may prove to be the best investment.
