BTW I've got a set of 800lb 2.5" ID Hyperco springs I need to get rid of. They are 6" long. I believe 800lbs is just a hair over 14k. I'd be glad to sell the complete set or split them up if you wanted to try something out.
As a general trend, everyone seems to eventually end up at 16k-ish spring rates, even if they've considered and/or had lower spring rates before. The consensus is that even with the time lost in some spots due to traction loss from the ultra high spring rates, the net gain is greater (steady state cornering speed, weight transition times).

This is, of course, coming from the guy who doesn't own a set of coilovers

I have a bunch of images from ACS Feb 25 and 26 2012. They are in several galleries. I shot every thing that flew past. I also have earlier events in the same folder. Comments are welcome.

It does take some fiddling to get each setup to work, including changes to how you drive that particular setup.

I'd work incrementally, changing one setting or item at a time (and logging it) so that you know the impact of each change (this is also easier on the pocketbook).

One possible solution I am thinking of trying are roll center adjusters. I'm debating between Hardrace vs. J's. Anyone have experience with RCA's? Also any opinion on the Hardrace brand?

Bullwings has the Hardrace ones on his car, I'm pretty sure his only complaint was the cheap bolts it came with. When I do my next alignment I'm going to put on a set of the Hardrace ones. I hate paying extra $$$ because of the name or it being JDM...

yeah, i'm using this part

http://www.velocityshop.com/product/...2000-_836.html

It includes the roll center piece and is similar to the J's S1/S2 camber/roll center adjuster. Part 6622 is a roll center adjuster ONLY and is not offset for extra camber.

Don't be fooled by the picture though - it does NOT come with grade 10 stamped bolts. I went out and bought my own grade 10.9 stamped bolts (I had to go to King Bolt in Covina to buy them - not carried at Ace, Home Depot, etc. etc.). The camber joint itself seems like a quality piece (at least according to my "hole in the wall" tire/wheel/alignment guy). I'm at 2.4 front camber right now - I could/should have asked for more. Next time I get an alignment, I'll go with 3.0 or max it out if it won't go that high.

I'm not sure what the difference is with/without the RCA plate. When I got them installed, I just had the whole thing put in together at the same time.

It looks like Evasive is carrying this part now. Velocity shop is back ordered until April

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...w=&range_high=

Other option if you don't want to wait and are willing to pay an extra $20 bucks.

http://www.motorklasse.com/hardrace-...r-f-for-s2000/

Just make sure you're getting part number 6621. Part 6622 is ONLY an RCA and not an offset camber adjuster.

There's also a rear RCA from hardrace...

http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewP...idcategory=567 I'm also curious about this part. But, for me it doesn't matter since I'm not lowered yet, maybe next season...

next time at autoclub im going to have a draft partner and have my suspension settings correct in the morning... ) also going to try not to skip red 1

busy day for me instructing, working gas and driving in the challenge

i was able to hit 129 and hold around 125, 126 in the banking... once in the draft i hit 133,134 and carried more speed only to be slowed down by a slow bmw
