Here are the suspension rules this year.
0.50 = OEM CR suspension
0.50 = Aftermarket spring up to 450 lbs/in with OEM non-CR shocks
1.00 = Aftermarket spring up to 500 lbs/in with non-adjustable aftermarket or CR shocks
1.50 = Full coilover suspension up to $3500 MSRP (e.g. SRC, KW Club Sport, Eibach ERS)
2.00 = Full coilover suspension above $3500 MSRP (e.g. Moton, JRZ)
As you can see, as soon as you start using a full coilover system, you are not penalized for running a softer rate vs. higher rate. The 1-point penalty for aftermarket spring up to 500 lbs/in is equivalent to 9 kg/mm. We set that limit arbitrarily so as to be able to include a wider range of off-the-shelf aftermarket lowering springs. As I see it, the rules do not imply that 16 kg/mm springs are superior to 10 kg/mm springs. You could run 20 kg/mm springs on revalved KW's and it would be the same point penalty as running the original 10 kg/mm springs. We penalize the coilovers based on the level of damper sophistication, which does correlate roughly to the MSRP.
I will admit that I do plan on downgrading to 12-14 kg/mm Hyperco springs when it's time for a revalve.

Hey everyone,
Did anyone accidentally take a 3/4 extension with a socket, and a MXP wheel lock socket from ACS?
At ACS, I used these to torque my wheels...but I totally forgot to put them away. These tools were located around John Tran's car and tools.
If you accidentally took these and found them...could you please PM me? I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
P.S. It was nice meeting you all...thanks for all your help.
