What tire pressures would be optimal for drag racing on the track?

5-10 P.S.I. is optimal for racing slicks.

Sorry I meant for a completely stock s2000 with original tires. It should be about 80 degrees

As high as possible, probably around 37-38 psi. You do this in order to get the back tires to spin more easily and not bog.

What about smaller tires for the rear to make for easier launches? A quick way to try it would be to swap front and rear tires. I've often thought that the hard launch could be made easier by a smaller contact patch on the ground - whether it would help or hinder would be the ultimate question, tho...

Sev, everything seems to work opposite down here down under. I found my times actually improved by dropping pressure from 38 down to around 30psi. My problem was too much wheelspin!
