Sweet, let me know how it goes!
Well, I put the stock '02 bar back on and disconnected the rear bar for yesterday's autocross. The outcome was barge-like understeer.

My setup includes:

KW variant 3's
GFL anti-bumpsteer kit
Alignment done about 3 weeks ago -- Front: -1.5 camber 5.5 caster 0 toe; Rear: -2 camber 1/8th inch toe in.
cold temps and the threat of rain kept me on 225f/245r Hankook RS-2 street tires

The event was on cold, not-so-grippy asphalt with temps right aroun 40.

I used all 5 official runs, making shock and air pressure adjustments after reach run, but the out come was always the same. Turn-in, front washes out. I took a couple of fun runs and tried full-stiff on the rear shocks, full-soft on the front, with the same outcome. I wish I had thought to reconnect the rear bar and give it a try. Strangely enough, I ran the local mountain twisties last weekend on the comptech front bar at mid-stiff and rear stock bar connected without a hint of understeer. I've got one last event next weekend--a car control school for teenagers. I think I'll just reconnect the rear bar for that one.

what did you have the ct bar set at? Even at full soft it might be too much.

You can tune out the understeer but will probably have to play w/ bar and springs. My race car is perfectly ballanced w/o the rear bar but I have bigger tires, stock front bar and much higher spring rates. I also run almost 0 rear toe.

Yep. It confused the hell out of me too, because I felt it was very well balanced on the comptech bar. Only on the stocker and no rear did it become a barge.

So is the conclusion to leave my stock rear attached with the CT front on?

I'll give it another test on r-compounds in Feb, but for me no rear bar with the stock front completely washed out the front end on street tires. If you have some fun runs, you might just take out one of the rear endlinks and set the comptech to full-soft to try it out. The rear endlinks can be removed without jacking up the car.

ooh street tires? I missed that part.

I'm sure it can be setup to to be well ballancedl based on my experiences on the race car (for both track and auto-x) The extra traction coming out of corners is so nice.
