Race seats

Planted fixed mount? I assume you are talking about this, with some side mounts... http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/plan...-brackets.html
I really do prefer a good solid mount over the crap BC slider, but I thought those got the seat pretty high by the time you get the side mounts on it. I really need to seat to sit as much "on the floor" as possible. Do those really allow the seat to get lower than OEM?

i do think i feel safer with the planted mount
you may be able to adjust the recline of the seat to lower your head but depending on your seat it might contact the rollbar preventing you from further recline

I was originally planning on getting a BC slider and re-welding the whole thing, and making some custom side brackets for it that are stronger. I'm 6'1, and don't come close to passing the broom stick test with the stock seat. I really need to sit as low as possible. The car is mostly stock, and I'd really like to be able to pass broom stick with the factory roll hoops. I do plan on adding a roll bar at some point, but right now, I'd rather spend my money on seat time.

Seat is as far back as it will go and it is sitting on the eye bolts that I used to mount the harnesses; it is as low and as far back as it can go with the cabin in stock form.

I've been doing some reading on the Sparco EVO series, and its pretty confusing because they have re-named their entire line. The new "EVO II" is supposedly the same as the previous "EVO II Plus", and the new "EVO II US" is supposed to be the same as the previous "EVO III". It just makes it confusing when reading reviews because, depending on when the review was done, it might be a completely different seat than the one you are actually buying. Just thought I'd pass this along as a warning to anyone looking into the EVO seats. The EVO II is now on my radar.

Anyone have any input on the Momo supercups and OMP Champ-R regarding fitment in car and on me? I'm 6'2" 205lbs 34 waist 33 inseam. If you have any better seat suggestions in the same price range I would love to hear them ($700 or less per seat). Thanks in advance!
Actually, just looked at the specs for the Sparco Evo 2, non US model, and I think thats prob the way to go
