I don't miss the ability to recline but it would be nice to have a seat that was a tad bit wider for my legs/waist for long trips. The lower back support with the Recaro more than makes up for the ability to recline the seat.

I had a Recaro Pole Position in my last s2k and I've got another one sitting at home waiting on a seat rail. I did several 3-4 hour drives with it and had no problems. At 6ft though I didn't have any adjustability with the stock seat anyways. There was only 1 position in which it was comfortable for me.

Yeah I am 6 foot 3 on a tall day so I always have the base as far back as possible... but I have found for racing I prefer a click or two reclined forward.

I liked my stock seat very upright as it held me in better that way. With the racing seat being upright no longer mattered as much.

Well, I have to give in and sell my Recaro Profi. It have hips that are about 1/4" too wide. If you can pickup in Georgia then I might have one you don't have to wait a month for.

So, I sat in a bride zetta III and it seems slightly wider at the hips than the recaro profi. I will be trying it out to see if it will work or me.

Anyone tried the Bride Vios? It looks like it would fit. The question is, "will I fit in it?" There are some cheap knock-offs available for that model also. I don't know much about them.

The Vios should easily fit as it has very narrow wings. Beware of the knockoffs though. The quality of the build may not pay off in the long run.

Some pics of the PCI. I didn't have time to test fit in the car:

Height:

He put that bar across the middle for the anti-sub belts because according to him you can't drill directly under the middle of the seat to match the belt hole. I know it's not advisable to bolt the belt on the seat bracket. Has anyone found that to be a problem drilling the floor smack in the middle of the seat?
