Which RA-1's for 17" Rims?
I have the standard 17X7 Front
and 17X8 Rear rims.
Suggested tire size are 215/45-17 Front & 245/40-17 Rear
The problem is Toyo Ra-1's only come in these sizes:
--------------------Rim Size-----Diameter-----Width-----Rev's per mile.
235/45ZR17-----7.5-8.0-9.0-----25.4----------9.3-------------834
205/40ZR17-----7.0-7.5-8.0-----23.4----------8.5-------------887
235/40ZR17-----8.0-8.5-9.5-----24.4----------9.6-------------852
255/40ZR17-----8.5-9.0-10.0----25.1---------10.2------------828
275/40ZR17-----9.0-9.5-11.0----25.67--------10.9------------812
205/50R17-------5.5-6.5-7.5-----25.2---------8.31-------------823
Any Suggestions?
Thanks!
Claus

235/45 fronts.
255/40 rears.
Would seem to be the logical choice.
I take it you have '04 OEM rims?
I have run 235/40 front 275/40 rear on the Volk CE28Ns with great success and just a little rubbing. My recommendation above for you reflects your narrower rim width and an uncertain tho likely good wheel offset.

With 235F/255R, you might need a stiffer front bar, but not sure as 225F/255R is still fairly balanced. Dave, you didn't have any problems with the shorter 235/40 front and the taller 275/40 rear (assuming this was when you had stock ABS)? I currently use 235/45F with 275/40R to keep the diameters close.
