Default Quick tire question

I hope I dont sound like a complete idiot since I am fairly new at this.
I am going to start autocrossing competively if possible and just bought a set of RS-3's
My question is, Would it be intelligent to give the tires a first heat cycle on the street or is this something only people with slicks would do?
Thanks for any input in advance.

I wouldn't worry about it. You've got a lot of learning to do yet so dont worry about the tires just yet. You'll be through these tires before you get competitive.

Id drive them around to get the mold release off - but for heat cycles, dont worry about it. Those RS3s love heat.
