Question about AP1 Tire Sizes for Autocross

I just picked up and put my new set of Z1 Star Specs on the car last night. I've noticed a major grip difference just in driving around to and from work, etc. today. I have also noticed that these tires pick up every little bit of road debris (sand, pebbles) and sling it up in the wheel wells.
I have 2 days of Autocrossing this weekend and am looking forward to experiencing the difference. The only negative is that they're calling for rain tomorrow morning...
