The advantage to pulling the seat is that you can put three in the passenger side and still close the top - which is something you can't do with the seat still in. Two side by side, the third strapped to the top, kinda leaning back. Works very well.

both fronts and a rear actually, and 1 rear in the trunk. What's funny is there is still loads of room to store stuff too.
Obviously you don't need the spare so you can put tools and stuff there and the foot well, sides of the trunk and inside the wheel in the trunk leave you lots of room to store your shit.
This is how I used to travel to and from the track w/ hooisers.

If you want to keep the passenger seat in get the Classic Carrier trunk rack to take the fourth (rear) wheel. That's what I do now. Rear vision is impaired, but you can still see behind via the driver-side mirror (leaning out) and for passing you can still see over your right shoulder. Roof can also go down.

Amazing - I did not know that. I'd always had the top down when traveling with an extra set of wheels and the passenger seat. I put a big firm pillow on the passenger seat cushion, otherwise the two fronts tend to smush the supportive sides of the seat.

Jason,
I don't use a pillow and there are no lasting marks (deformity) on the seats. I do cover the seat first with a large piece of plastic (plastic trash bag) to prevent friction so no bruises etc.
Jguerdat,
I'll have to try putting the third wheel on the seat also. Maybe I don't need the trunk rack, unless the 255's on top of 225's (wider width makes then sit higher on the seat side-bolsters) are just too big.
