Well, we could make a pretty educated guess on your next ride from the avatar but do you want to fill us in?

The transaction's not completely done yet, but I'm moving on an M030 package Porsche 968.

B Stock seems to be filling out nicely already. To my knowledge (names withheld for some until they make their own announcements):
  • Me confirmed in a 968
  • A former national champion confirmed in a 968
  • A former national champion, Keith Casey, confirmed in an RX-8
  • A multiple time Nationals bridesmaid whose short list is down to two cars, one of which is an RX-8
Not bad given that it's been four days since the announcement...

I'm moving on an STS car... so if someone REALLY wants my S2000, drop me a line. If not, I'll see how versatile I am as a driver.

B Stock is looking pretty good, but A Stock is sucking wind already.

West Coast guys who are definitely out of A Stock:
Isley
Fagundes
Hui
O' Boyle

Andy H.
Wants to run in SM but realistically:
AWD on street tires at home
RWD on race tires away (unless it sells)

PS - Steve's offering a MUCH better deal on his car than I'd be inclined to take on mine. If you're interested in a AS S2000, buy his car.

Steve, do you think BS is going to be able to make a class in the western ProSolos?

Too early to say, but three of the four national-level guys I mentioned above are left coasters.

Boy, it would suck to get bumped to AS.

By the way, I dropped my car off to get put back to stock form tonight, so the package described at the top of this thread is no longer available.

Yes, parts vultures -- that means all of the go-fast bits will be on sale shortly. Don't bother PM-ing me or calling dibs, though; eBay recognizes no dibs. I'll post when the parts go up.

Yeah - I'm out; but it has nothing to do with the reclass. (When I got the car there was already talk of a bump to AS - that was 3 years ago...) My lease is up - and it's time to move to a different car/class anyhow. That and I couldn't justfy buying out my lease - my residual is crazy high!

I was fastest when paired up with a national caliber driver so I intend to do this again next year. I'm not very good at teaching myself... I just got slower and slower last year.

And Fagundes is out b/c his lease is up as well... to the best of my knowledge.

Tony,

If you're willing to drive an S2000, I might take you up on that. I won't make San Diego or Atwater, but we might be able to work something out for Reno Divisional, Bremerton, an Atwater test-n-tune (if Nationals is still concrete), and Topeka.

My biggest hangup is going to be getting the car to events that are out of town. I don't really want to go to Nationals in a car I've driven less than fifty runs in the previous year, but that might be the position I'm in.
