Default Please help

I have a set of 18x7.5 and 18x9.5 Axis Reverb wheels with 225/40 & 265/35 tires.. I know these wheels are pretty heavy compared to the Volks and what not and they're also 18s which aren't the best for track use.. I found a guy selling his 5zigen Fn01-RC. Spec 17x7 and 17x8 wheels with Rt615 215/40 and 235/40 tires... My only concern is going down to 235 rears from 265's... So my question is would this be an upgrade or a downgrade to use these wheels instead of the ones I currently have at the track?

Any input would be greatly appreciated..

Thank you,
Edmond

Why would you go down to 235 rears? The stocks are 7.5" rears and they fit 245s easily... probably up to 275 if you don't mind a bit of bulge.

NM... just saw that they come with the wheels. I'd say chuck those tires and get some wider ones. But that's just me.

I'd be more concerned with the smaller front width.
