Hey have any of you guys heard of Castrol LMA brake fluid?

They stateit's better than DOT 4, but can be added and mixed with stock break fluid?

Oh, by the way I used timing for my first event.

But I used it to see if I was getting better throughout the day.

And on session 3 and 4 I tried some different techniques to see what the results were.

I was about to say you are hijacking this thread, but you are actually on topic.

Hey Craig... time to update the signature.

As for hijacking the thread...
Anyone see the Pac Ten tourney?
Think the Red Sox can defend?
Will Hillary run in '08?
How about that Middle East???

I was teaching a novice skills day today (does that make this on topic?) so I didn't get off the track until 6pm. Just missed the final. But way to go, Huskies!

Also, my butt dyno determined that the BSK adds 2 seconds!... So I really beat JP by 3.5 seconds

I go away for a few days, and come back to see how much time you guys wasted on this thread!?!?! But of course you wouldn't know just how much time you wasted if you didn't have a watch (timing)
LOL

Craig, I assume you got the rotors I shipped you okay? Do you want to buy the x-brace from me then to retro-fit to the Radical? I hear that chasis needs a lot of aftermarket stiffening.

Bleeding the brakes before each event is a smart thing to do. I installed Russell Speed Bleeders in my rotors so I can bleed the brakes by myself. Use good High temp fluid while initially flushing out old stock brake fluid. (Wilwood 570 or 600, Motol, etc) Enjoy!!

OOPS!! I intended to say ' installed Russell Speed Bleeders in the CALIPERS, not rotors.

We used Hot Lap equipment for the First Annual(?) John Dearing Dromo One Indoor Karting Invitational last night. This way, Wayne, Jason, and I could get instant feedback as to which line is fastest for our driving style.
We got about 165 practice laps (oval config, three sessions) before the first "official race" with 16 entrants.

Dearing took 1st in the final race, I took 2nd, Wayne had a shot at either 2nd or 3rd but has black flagged for bumping.
