Their website says a) you need a competition licence and b) no convertibles. What's up with that?
I have a convertible and no competition license. It was an open track day when I stopped by to just take a look at the track and they let me go out.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the no converable / competition license thing on their website. I was out there last fall in my stock S2K.

It is a blast to drive- the esses after the front straight are a test of your ball size and hitting the "Toilet Bowl" correctly on the new section is boner-inducing.

If there is some interest I can talk to them about reserving the track for a PNW vs. SV crack-fest.

OTC (Open Track Challenge) starts at Reno Fernley on Wed. Aug 10th, so the weekend before (Aug 6-7) or the Mon-Tues (8-9) would be convenient for the ones competing in OTC, though if I do I will be on street tires.

Sounds like an excellent compromise.

Any possibility of scheduling something around June 14? Some of us will already be in Reno for Sac2k Days IV.
How many potential track-day attendees will there be at Sac2Kdays? If there are enough this could turn into something like we had last weekend at Fontucky.

Blair or Station would be the guys to contact about that. It's a great idea, but we'd probably have to schedule the track day for Monday the 15th to coordinate. I'll PM them and see what they think.

This is hereby declared the most wildly and erratically off-topic thread in R&C

That would only be convenient if you plan on staying in Reno from the 6th onwards. That's a long way to drive twice in 1 week.
