There are five tracks within five hours of Seattle. Pacific Raceway is 30 minutes from downtown Seattle.

Tedster put together an excellent informational thread here. Check it out:

Stickied to the top of the PacNW owners forum is a somewhat comprehesive listing of available track days with the different clubs/tracks.

Actually, Ted is still in progress for the 2005 schedule, I think. So far he only has Proformance info.

Still, very comprehensive.

The main page has some excellent faq's we might want to incorporate into a stickie here for the R&C curious.

Well done Ted!

It would be fun. Maybe we could all meet half-way, like Portland.
Or Reno-Fernley

I stopped at Reno-Fernley on my way out to San Francisco last year and did a half day on the track. I liked it. I'm all for an event there.

Sounds like an excellent compromise.

Any possibility of scheduling something around June 14? Some of us will already be in Reno for Sac2k Days IV.

Their website says a) you need a competition licence and b) no convertibles. What's up with that?

Reno Fernley would be good, and no home field advantage for either.
