Default oil presure/temp pick up locations?

Guys,

I'd like to install both an oil pressure gage as well as an oil temp gage. Where can I locate a pick up point for both?

thanks...

You will need a "sandwich plate" or "oil filter adapter" that mounts between the oil filter and oil filter mount. That's the asiest way I found. Your sending units will screw in the that plate, www.glowshift.com, they have guages too but most any will work and they all have different size threads so watch that.

Thanks for the reply, but I'll need to find an alternate means if possible as I have just recently started using a Canton oil filter, and there is no room left for an adaptor ;(

Any good places to tap? I do not want to drill into the block or anything like that. Preferably something that could be replaced if I were to decide to return it back to stock.

Where does the factory idiot light pick up the reading from? There must be a way to adapt something there?

I bought a Greddy oil sensor sandwitch plate adapter and had it tapped to the common size for gauge sensors other than Greddy... its forsale if you need one.

How large is the filter? Can you not just swap it to a Honda filter and then use a sandwich? might be a much simpler way of doing it rather than trying to work around the filter's awkward dimension...
