Nobody,
I think that looks correct. I don't remember exactly it has been a while. 25-280 does cross reference generically though.

Bump, as this thread's very helpful, and perhaps others will benefit from it.

Thanks,

Don't forget that if you don't change the filter often enough, you'll starve the lubrication system. The bypass valve ensures lubrication with unfiltered oil, potentially causing scoring over time. The lack of such a valve will cause more damage more quickly. Don't skimp - prevent the filter from plugging by using new filters as appropriate...

Or put an oil pressure sensor downstream from the filter. I would think you should see the pressure drop if the filter gets too dirty.

Moat likely if the filter gets too dirty it will go into "bypass" mode. You'll see plenty of pressure from dirty unfiltered oil

I meant on the cartridge filters with no bypass.

The CM filter I'm using will run 10K miles with contaminated oil, so I suspect that regular oil changes (i.e., at or before factory recommended intervals) will be more than sufficient, even with a lot of track days. I think it's a pretty good solution, having had a bit of time with it now.

Best,
CB
