Oil cooler questions
What's going on guys? I bought a mishimoto oil cooler and have a few questions
1. I currently have a oil relocation kit and plan to run those lines for the filter as well as the lines for my oil cooler. With having for sets of lines should I worry about a drop in my oil pressure?
2. Since I'll have two sandwhich plates one for the cooler and one for the filter should I worry about my stock oil pump working to hard?
3. If I stack the sandwhich plates theoretically the top plate being for the filter should get enough oil to the oil filter?
Thanks

I had oil pressure with my turbo car, once the oil had warmed up over 200F it would run super rich and lose power.
Eventually I figured out it wasn't going into VTEC and was basically stuck on the Low cam. After looking at the VTEC solenoid and wiring I eventually got a pressure gauge and realised I had horrible oil pressure. I tested it once and saw it dip into the 40's once warmed up on the street!
I had a ebay sandwich fitting that daisy chained the relocation kit with lots of 90 degree fittings etc.
Changed to the mocal sandwich plate with a the scienceofspeed filter relocation and replumbed my oil cooler like robrob's guide.
Now my oil pressure is ok no more VTEC problems.
So I'd be very carefull what you use and only run high quality stuff and stuff that is know good if you can IE mocal plate and short hose runs like robrob's cooler install. Another issue I read about when I was looking at my issues was possibly the direction of the oil thru the filter being wrong!
I'd definitely get a pressure guage to see where its at before and after install

I currently have a greddy turbo kit with the oil filter relocation kit. It also drains back into the where the drain plug use to be.
this is not the ideal location and I will be rerouting into my timing cover over the winter.
I am planning on adding an oil cooler into the mix also. But looking to see if anyone has a writeup on the placement of the oil cooler on a turbo car.
And furthermore a diagram in the best route to run the lines from the oil filter relocation, to the timing cover.
