The true tests will happen when a credible source runs the GT-R in the same conditions, same driver, same everything (except cars) vs it's competition. Things don't make sense on paper with the GT-R taking into account it's weight (almost 4000lbs), claimed power(473hp flywheel vs claimed 480whp), tires (255/40ZRF20 & 285/35ZRF20), etc. and as a result I don't see how it can beat a C6 Z06 or GT3. It should lose pretty easily to many of the cars it is beating. It also is beating the Carrera GT Maybe its a factory racer in stock trim? I wonder why nobody has been able to thoroughly test it? Until then, all we have are rumors and nothing official.

No doubt it's a fast car, but to claim any TA! records at the ring is way premature and maybe a little disingenuous to boot.
