OEM or OEM Replacement Rotors for Track use
As a part-time tracker, I've realized that rotors are just like brake pads or fluids, they need to be replaced frequently...
I tried the fancy drilled or slotted rotors and found they crack much faster than OEMs...not worth the $$$
OEMs seem to work the best...but they can get expensive in the long-term. Where can I find cheap OEMs...or...
Are there OEM "replacements" that work just as good, but cheaper? Anything that is track proven???
Any suggestions would be greatly helpfull!!!

Please ... this has been discussed over and over again. Recently, even. You could do a Mark 1 Eyeball search if you don't trust any of the other available search options.
1) Best pricing for OEM rotors (vendors?)
2) If OEM "relacements" have been track proven
a) If so, what is best pricing for OEM "replacements"
b) Who are the viable vendors?
mikegarrison, I've seen your postings, if you can give me more direct answers, please PM me...thanks!

Next page down, in "Rotor Upgrade" (an unhelpful title) there are some discussions of rotor sources. A few more pages down there should be a thread called "cheap rotors". At least, I remember that one from about a month ago.
I wouldn't be going all "do-a-searchy" on you, except that we really did just have several threads on this.
Lots of people who sell pads also sell rotors, generally cheaper than OEM. All the really cheap ones come from the same source, China. Those are the NAPA rotors people talk about.

Ah, here's the one I was remembering. OK, two months ago, not one.

Anyone tried the Carbotech or Cobalt rotors?
Pricing on these two plus OEMs would be great...
They are pretty cheap and any opinions on track-tested rotors would be awesome...thanks!
