its not like the harddog is expensive I don't see a point buying any of the knockoff bars

 

I remember there being a $100-$200 difference in price vs the Rockstar garage deal. But I mainly hate that the paint is already coming off. That's lame 3 days after install. The convertible top rubbed the "powdercoat" off the the top outside corners

 

You really have to not give a shit about your own safety to pull the factory roll hoops out and toss in an OBX bar. Sad thing is people will do it.

Just a little info about rsg bars.

Our bars are made stronger than any of the competitions stuff. What makes it stronger is the way we bend our tube. We use a true mandrel cnc bending machine. We insert a rod into the tube where it is to bend. In some cases, we even pack sand in this area. This creates outward pressure and limits the amount of distortion on the tube walls.

Bending a tube stretches it and can make it weak. We do everything we can to ensure we make the highest quality and strongest parts possible.

We took a good design and essentially made it better. We also widened the bar as well as made it as tall as possible while still compatible with soft top and all hardtops
