Had a good weekend with NASA at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit running in TTB. June 20-21 2014

2 Class wins, 2 Track Records, 4 New Hoosiers, 1 Weekend.

Saturday- Ran warmup TT session with over 40 cars on Hallett's 1.8 mile track. Got a decent time and was pace car for Session 1. Given that there would be over 20 TT cars per mile, the decision was made to break up the TT group into 2 groups. TTU-TT3 and TTB-TTF.

Session 1: Ran a 1:25.832. Good enough for the class win. Track record was 1.25.301, I knew I had Sunday to try to reset it and I wanted to preserve tires so I didn't run any other sessions.

Sunday Session 1: Ran a 1:24.741. I'm really glad I managed a good time early on due to temperatures being in the mid 90's that day. New Track record set. I didn't run the other two sessions as I felt that time would hold up the rest of the day.

There's a tradition at Hallett that started last year where the last TT session on Sunday would be CW just for Track Records. I was able to run a 1:27.238 which reset the old track record of 1:27.896.

Next stop is NASA Nationals at Road Atlanta. Looking forward to the experience.

The second place time wasn't close to him, at a 1.28.xxx. Dysen's main competitor (previous TR holder) didn't make the trip.

BTW, his Saturday time was "1:25.832" (he had a little typo up there).
